2015 Election Results

A very important part of how LocationTech works is that committers and representatives from participant members can seek election to the LocationTech Steering Committee (SC). The SC is the group that provides guidance and strategic direction for the working group. This includes setting the budget.

The results are in for the 2015 Election. Congratulations to Jody Garnett (elected committer rep.) and Robert Cheetham (elected participant rep.) who were re-elected to serve on the LocationTech Steering Committee.

LocationTech Election announced

A very special thank you to Jody Garnett (elected committer rep.) and Robert Cheetham (elected participant rep.) for serving on the LocationTech Steering Committee, and for offering to run again.

The group has grown a lot since we held the last election, and there are many amazing people participating. I encourage you to consider running for election to give voters great choices for guiding our group. If you want to run, please get your nomination in by May 8th.
